Ruger model 1895 compensator

I have a friend who has a new Ruger model 1895 SBL who is looking for a muzzle brake for his rifle. Yup....he spend his kid's college fund to make the purchase!!! He is quite recoil sensitive and he is looking for a muzzle brake that he can screw onto the barrel to tame it down at the range and remove it for hunting. Any information on a compensator for this rifle would be appreciated. He said that he has looked at a couple of brakes, however every place he looked they were out of stock. Any help would be appreciated.
