Ridgeline shoots poorly and jams

My question is what kind of person packages a rifle to go out of the factory to a customer that will not reliably chamber and eject factory ammo (without the use of a mallet)?
Not the kind I want to buy from.

These areas of rough machining particularly the one I marked with "x".
I would be concerned the forward surface of the lug is binding on the end of the barrel. If it's close to binding when cold, then binding when hot.
It certainly could be jacking the bolt and leading to the scattering of shots, and distorting the fired brass.
Since it's going back to CA, it's a moot point now.
"Sorry" machining in my book.

Yes I pointed this out several pages back, It even looks like there is a piece of a cleaning patch tore off on the sharp burr at the chamber edge. Very poor machine work!

This is possible? There are some big grooves in that machining too that were made on a lathe.
It should have a lot of clearance from the end of barrel to front of lugs but I've seen a lot of horribly missed dimensions in machining or in machining instructions.
Certainly is gouged and burred on the end and sloppy countersink machining in the start of chamber. Looks like that cutter was well worn or chipped while in the cut.
We'll never know anyway.

It should have ten thou bolt nose clearance, That's why I remind people that buy used remington barrels and and install them, And think they are doing okay because the round chambers, They may have very little bolt nose clearance and when things warm up, Now they have none, I'm not sure that's what's happening here, But it's a possibility. When we measure the action for tenon specs and headspace, We always subtract ten thou from the breech face for bolt nose clearance.

Thanks for all the replies. I drive a truck and am gone for weeks at a time sometimes. I got home today, my 300 prc was here waiting for me. they said they put on a new barrel, adjusted headspace and polished the chamber. I got a new bore scope before I left, so thought I'd try it out. Here are pics of the new barrel, right out of the box.
Supposedly, only 6 test rounds have been fired out of this ,new, barrel. Tell me what you think??

Yeah, that pitting youre showing appears to be "spalling" which occurs in roller bearings due to heat. Flaking off of metal. How can that happen when reaming? No coolant or oil? A dull reamer?
It doesn't appear to be a transition from the throat to leade angle in the rifling. Hard to tell from pictures if there is raised metal at the neck diameter into the throat or carbon.
I would clean it up, re-inspect to see if anything loose is removed.
I would be concerned, definately.
I would run some rounds through it and see if problem reappears and if it groups.
