Thanks guys, some really insight full comments. The reason I bought the Sandero is because i wanted the a rifle that would be good until i can throw money at it
everyone i know who has one swears on it. and my dad has a 30+
year old CDL (factory) that he can get .5" groups with, just by adjusting hanloads
sandero_man pretty much answered my first question. because i really want to do a recrown.
How much of the barrel did you cut off? Did you do it yourself?

didn't cut any barrel off, just had it re-crowned.
local Gunsmith did it for me. $55.00
my original factory crown was not true, slightly off. you see the results afterwards
made the groups half or better than what they were.
