One of my coworkers just bought a 788. when he took it out the other day the rifle fired when he took the safety off. His finger was no where near the trigger. knowing the rifles past I think the trigger springs have been changed, causing an unsafe situation. We haven't had a chance to check it over too close yet.
Does anyone know where to buy a descent trigger assembly for this rifle? I would like to give him an idea what it might cost to attempt a fix.
