Looking to sell a Remington 700 BDL Varmint Special in 25-06 caliber. 24" heavy barrel. 25-06 is the only long action caliber made in the great VS line up. This rifle was made in 1975 per the CZ barrel code. The rifle is a shooter grade. Metal is in good shape, only some light blue wear and hunting marks. The wood has a good bit of impression marks and one spot where the gloss wore off. Bore is nice and bolt face shows minor wear. Comes with a Leupold base. These are typically excellent shooters! I remember thinking those were heavy, but the ultimate for "accuracy" back in the day.
Cool to see again.
Today they are normal weight at the most, still never heard of one that didn't clover-leaf.

Agreed my buddy has a 6mm Remington and a 25-06 varmint special. And they hammer

Dads was a 22-250. That bore looked tiny!
