Rem 770

I'm not sure if you've noticed but a 770 has a 3 lug floating bolt head, and a 700 bolt is 1 piece withh 2 lugs. The 770 has nothing in common with the 700, unless you count both newer versions shooting like **** common!

+1 on what ron said 770's, savage axis, marlin xl7, h&r handi rifles all = disposable plinkers, hell you can buy a 111 savage or 700 sps for 150$ more and if treated right they may outlast you.

Thanks for the answers. I have a savage model 11 and a Weatherby. I picked this gun up for next to nothing, it is a 243 youth model for my young daughter to hunt with, it shoots a 100 grain cor lokt sub moa at 100. all in all for its use it is not bad excepy for the action and I was hoping that could be improved. Guess not , so i will let her continue with it as is. Again thanks for the help.
