Went shooting today with a buddy. His brand new Remington 700 AWR in 7mm mag has an issue feeding rounds that I have never seen before.
When there is one round in chamber and 2 in the mag well [It's a standard BDL hinged floor plate] And go to eject the round in the chamber [ Doesn't matter in it is a live or fired round]
As you pull the bolt back the round in the mag pops up and jambs the round you are trying to eject into the top of the receiver leaving both rounds stuck so you have to open the floor plate and dump all the rounds out the bottom.
It does not do this when there is only one round in the mag well.
Has anyone had this problem? Or any Ideas what is causing this?

That's what we were thinking. The spring had a little to much pressure . Do you remember how you fixed it? Maybe try a new or different spring or could the original one be bent a little to fix problem?

Try tweaking it and if it doesnt do it, try a different follower.
