Chain link fence on sides and back, wood privacy in front, a house on each side, tracks out back with foliage on the other side with houses about a 1/4 mile from mine. Coons just showed up a several years ago. wish they would go bye bye. The possums showed up a few years ago, they are not a problem and are actually beneficial.. And as for the cats, well, that is another story for another day. they have become family BTW... We have been trying to find someone to get the coons and relocate them. Problem is every time we set a trap, we end up catching one of the cats... I have managed to get 2 of the coons and set them free across the river. still have 5 or so to get rid of.
You don't sound like you are in any sort of safe zone (or legal zone) to be shooting anything from a firearm.
Bow for the raccoons and possums. Maybe even the yotes if you get lucky.
The cats will have to fend for themselves if they are feral/outside only cats.

I'm not quite sure how possums are beneficial, however for the coons, if you really want to get rid of them the only way is to poison them with a high velocity lead pill of some sort. A friend tried the relocating method and the coons had found their way back in about two weeks. I guess if you drove for about two hours on an interstate highway it might give you a few years before they found their way back, or got run over on same said interstate. By the way, depending upon their diet, coon can be pretty tasty if prepared right.
Opossums are beneficial in most habitats... they eat up to 10,000 ticks a year, and their super low body temperature makes them immune to almost all diseases that are transmissible to humans, including rabies. They are also pretty docile and just want to be left alone for the most part. They are on the protected species list at my hunting camp. Coyotes, coons and armadillos on the other hand... they get the lead diet via suppressed .22LR.

Well since you sit on two acres with chain link that would not stop a bullet, and you have neighbors on both sides, there would only be one choice. Why not try a 4 inch cannon loaded with grape shot. But first check your local laws on discharging a firearm in your area. The sarcasm is free.
Seriously, you need to know local laws and talk to your neighbors before discharging any rounds in a neighborhood.

From the sounds of it, I would recommend going immediately to the local pawn shop to sell all your guns and any sharp objects in your possession that you might hurt yourself with. Then put half the proceeds towards coyote proofing your fence and the other half towards a hobby that's more productive than trolling the internet.

Due to close proximity with neighbors I'd suggest getting a nice Crossbow. Extremely accurate and can take down an elephant if needed, so it's more than capable for yotes coons and deer while your at it.:) 50 yard shots are easy

3 words for you my friend….

Precharged
Pneumatic
Airgun.

Super quiet
Super accurate
Super deadly on stuff like coons.

A $300 DAR in .25 (and a $75 hand pump) would clobber stuff inside 50 yards or so, and your neighbors wouldn't even know you were shooting it.
Yup…..what he said!! .^^^^^^^^^^^ 👍👍!! I live in the same situation that you live in (2 1/2 acres), only I have a neighbor and a federal game preserve in my backyard. A .25 caliber in the guts and they run off and die so I don't have to bury them. There is very little noise, they're extremely accurate and extremely effective!! Presently this state of corruption where I live is trying to pass legislation putting a moratorium on hunting these predators. We have them walking down our streets in the daytime and running across my front yard at all times of day or night. Our neighborhood looses small dogs and cats weekly.

He said he didn't want to buy a new gun though?
