Range Pet Peeves!

So had a thread similar to this and it got closed up because it got a little rowdy! So please pay attention to posts to keep it moving. Everyone has their quirks or procedural approach at the range. What is the #1 thing that ruins your range day done by other range members?

I will start with prolly my most aggravating specimen! MAG DUMPERS! This is even more so exaggerated in a range with over hang! If u want to mag dump if possible, and I know sometimes it's not, but if it is make a little room between u and the next shooter!

Cease fire being called every 5min. This is the number one reason I no longer visit our local range. Spending more time watching people lollygag down range than shoot.

When the summer cattle walk into my shooting lanes and hang out! So irritating, gotta jump on a buggie and go chase em off!

I don't have a problem with 'mag dumpers', but please use a catch bag. I don't want hot brass in my face and down my collar.

I don't like the old curmudgeons that come to the public range and expect a 3 bench barrier on either side. You know the type, huff and puff if you shoot with a break, mean mug folks that don't let them know every time they are going to pull the trigger and think because they are able to spot bullet holes from the bench that target breaks are a waste of time.

Really hurts the sport and makes people think you have to be an uptight ***** to be any good at shooting.

What about them types that can't seem to shoot in their own lane. U go put a fresh target up and soon as u get all setup, range is hot, and couple shots around u! Only to see that your clean target ain't clean no more!

I know I mean if u are on a hundred yard range or even 200 and u can't see your shots thru your glass, it's called time to upgrade!

I would rather deal with animals on the range than the "walkers" at my range! 50x scope with two foot of sun shade hanging off the barrel, bedazzled in multicam! "Range Life"!
