question for gunsmiths, opening boltface on Win 70

Just wondering what the experienced guys think about opening the boltface to .590" (338 Lapua boltface) on a Win 70 Black Shadow in 223 WSSM

It can be done, the safety is in the lugs, not the bolt face, but, it will be thin and dropping the bolt on a hard surface may break the lip.
The CZ 550 bolt handles .640" for the 505 Gibbs round, it has the same diameter bolt body as a Win 70.
