Anyone stuck a proof sendero light in a McMillan gamescout?

I tried and my smith said it can't be done. He double checked with McMillan and they said no as well. Fore end is not wide enough for the light to fit.

It can be done. I had one installed on this build. 6.5 Creedmoor, 22" barrel, Accurate Ordinance trued Rem 700 action, Huber Concepts trigger, and a Game Scout stock. I really like it.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture looking down on top the barrel channel. They told me it would leave a sharp edge and not a flat spot on the top of the fore end. Just curious what it looks like.

Game Scout has the same forend as a Classic. I've done 2-3 Rem Varmint contours in them, and there's a little bit of "flat" left on top on both sides. It works, but the Game Warden is a better fit. McMillan use to say up to a #5 contour in the Classic, but have backed that off to a #4 in their descriptions.

The game scout can take a #8 contour. I have spoke personally with McMillan & they will be doing one for me with a proof carbon fiber senero large for a 338lm
