Please offer your experience with both.

$99 for bino version; $168 for spotter version.......my version under $25. You already have optic lens covers with your bino/spotter, so that's not a real feature/function of Magview. Make slip on version of Magview. Butler Creek scope cover to fit your optic. Rare earth magnets from local hardware store. JBWeld, bondo, epoxy magnets to the optic cover perimeter.......you can figure it out, pretty it up tp yur stanards. Small ferrous plate to the back of your phone, adhered via double stick tape or reuseable tape......think Crazy Screen Boat Guy products. Another option built around magnetic Nite Eyes phone holder, available at Home Depot et el. Already have PhoneScope? Modify it via magnets to back of the plate, cutting phone model specific rim away to avoid phone specific issues mentioned previous post, same phone plate. Didn't check whether Magview is patented, but one can copy any design for own use, not selling to others for profit. You're welcome.....Can anyone offer some advice? I am interested as well. My friend has a MagView. We use it to record long range shots at rocks. I was going to buy one, then saw the cost. I too am wondering what the sort of real world advice is out there. Had anyone tried both? If so, what is your preference and why?
Seems like it would be nice for them to add a MagSafe option to their mounting system. Then nothing would need to be added to the phone/case. Maybe one day…The magnetic plate that came with mine prevented wireless charging. I see that MagView does offer wireless charging plate.
MAGVIEW Wireless Charging Phone Plate
The MAGVIEW Wireless Charging Phone Plate allows your device to be attached to the MAGVIEW Binocular and Spotting Scope digiscope adapters without losing the ability to wirelessly charge. This magnetic plate is specifically sized to pair perfectly with our optic adapters to provide a firm hold...magviewgear.com
