Just ordered a 708 in a savage 110 high country and i have a dilemma on the scope choice , i have it narrowed down to ...
NX8 4-32x50 F1
Zeiss Conquest V6 5-30x50

I have a NX8 2.5x20 on a 68 already and i know what to expect but i was kind of think SFP for this hunting setup but cant very many reviews on the V6 . This will be a dedicated hunting rig out to about 400-600 yards but mostly 2-300 . So anyone with both or at least the V6 can give me some feed back i would appreciate it.

I have one, but in 3-18. great hunting scope in my opinion and I would recommend it as such. The only negative for me is the reticle is a bit too thick for my liking since I prefer the TMOA and MOART reticles by Leupold and Night Force.

Bad apparent fov is why I'm selling my v6, I personally hate a restricted fov in scopes or binoculars, especially when it's so called alpha glass, each their own though. Compared to a diavari or v8 the fov is very restricted, meaning it sucks by comparison.

Not sure why ZEISS chose to go this route or compromise with some of their newer scopes on fov, the hd5 and now the v6 line. I'd probably go with the NF is price was close because of the turrets and reticles unless your looking for a trimmer hunting scope.
