So I am working on a load for my son's rifle and wanted some help in analyzing seating depth target.
Gun is a Christensen Arms ridgeline 6.5cm
24in barrel
Powder:Ramshot Hunter
Primer: fiochi lrp
147gr eldm
Norma brass 3rd firing annealed each time.
I started .03 off of jam and worked in .003 increments away. Test was not done in optimal conditions but when I was able to get out and do it. 40 degrees out 20mph wind but consistent wind was my thinking. I guess I would like help picking the seating depth based off of target. I was thinking 2.200 or 2.203. Should I pick the 2.003 node at .589moa knowing as the throat wears it should fall back into the 2.200 and even 2.197 with .49moa and .601moa respectively. Another question is my es and sd. On a 10 shot string ES of 23 and sd of 7.4. Is this good or bad. Should I tinker with it more with maybe different neck tensions. All depths are off of OGIVE.

Thinking same thing. I'll load some at the 2.200 to confirm and a couple tests shorter then the 2.188. Hopefully not as windy next time. Been wind and snow seems like for the last month here in northern Nevada.

Your weather sounds like what I've been dealing with too.
