Opening morning here in Tx 4yr old grandson wanted to go so off we go . Walked out to 1 of my stand around 7:20 2 bucks pushing a doe west of us about 300 yds heading north was too foggy for a good look at them.Around 9:15 had a short beamed 8pt going south ,young body looking deer . A little bit later here comes a doe heading south at about 250Yds got the gun up incase a buck was trailing her and there was. He was moving at a steady pace saw he was tall nice bean length got lined up and sent one bang flop.Was first time for him on a deer hunt has been along on a lots of hog hunts. Used a Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 creedmoor .129gr SST ,43.5gr imr4350 ,Athlon helos 6-24x56 and a F1 suppressor recoved bullet under skin on off shoulder. also his left leg had been broken and healed looking at his jaw looks like 5 1/2 years old.
