Anybody have experience with ohuas scales? not interested in beam scales.
Any input would be appreciated.

Are you fixed on that one, or asking in general about electronic scales for recommendation?
If you are opening up the thread to other scales, are you setting a budget limit?

I would suggest sticking to ones the greater shooting community has adopted unless you dont't mind tinkering and trying different ones. The FX-120i is very popular because the aftermarket automation units are designed to use it plug and play, and also because it is a good value for kernel level work. The EJ is decent, portable, and responds to trickling. You would still need to price shop, but at least these two are decent baselines for comparison.

Thank you
oldwill is a name I've never heard of and will look in to. I am fixed on scales that are 1 or 2 levels up from the rcbs, hornady, lyman. plug them in warm up for hours use them for 30 minutes and wander or some variation of that. ohaus makes a $200 model that reviews seem about like Ive been using most likely manufactured same place. The model above has really good reviews with several from reloaders and can be had around $350.

Do you load in the field at the range?

The hole in the cover of that EJ allows you to trickle into a pan with some cover from the wind. It also runs well on battery and does decent with temperature swings.

So it's accuracy is spec'd at 0.003 grams or 0.05 grain (rnd). Not bad for under $350. Korean vs China made as well.

seems like $200 or less and its china or philippines
Like most things, I'll think about it for a month or so and if I still want it I'll buy.
few more reloads with the rcbs range master 750 will probably help

My mistake I was looking at the A&D Newton EJ-123 scale here https://www.oldwillknottscales.com/and-newton-ej-123.html in the Q&A it shows made in Korea. But I had to go to another site to get the accuracy specs as they only listed resolution.

Thanks guys, want to improve my long range accuracy. Below my last trip to dead zero in tennessee.
Just kidding, If I could do that every time I wouldn't be looking for better scales.

Well since you asked; that's a savage model 12 with shilen barrel # 10 or so, cambered in 6.5 CM 26" long. That's why I chose a savage years ago. Bullets are 147 hornady eldm that I aint too impressed with. A pretty good bit of superf powder. I like that powder , nobody else does and its always available. Peterson Fat brass annealed, turned to 0145 and shot several times. Forster a frame press with forster FLSA die, 2635 mandrel, redding comp series setter. Primers salvaged from years of prairie dog loads, Remington #9s, wolfs, CCIs, who knows.

I'm sure you all have had that day at the range and that was mine.

Forgive me please, a little full of **** and vinegar and beer. First buck of the year and he's in the cooler.
