Well I got most of the creep out of the trigger, installed the base and mounted the scope. Only took 3 shots to get it on paper, the third shot hit the black dot so I fired 4 more and this is the resulting group. Had some Winchester Deer Season ammo left from a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle I had. I'm going to like this M48!

Looks like you'll have a good reason to like it.
My XP in 260 Remington has done well deer hunting w/ various 120 gr bullets including the Barnes TTSX, Speer Gold Dot and Hornady SST (123 gr). The 120 gr NBT is a great bullet as well, but I wanted to try different bullets in my 260 since I'd already killed a bunch of deer w/ the NBT in my 6.5 JDJ.
