"Extra cost" means different things to different people. The best brass available is reputedly produced by Norma and Lapua. Lapua is a little cheaper, maybe a nickel or so per case. But those brands are head and shoulders above the others in consistency. If you are shooting competition, there are no other suitable choices. I load the others only for some hunting rifles.
