I annealed nickel 338WM brass once, the nickel plating starting coming off soon after every time it was sized. Don't recommend it.

Cheers.
Was that factory ammo that you had reloaded? I was hoping that being I got this directly feomStarline it would be a little better quality and take the heat?

Treat it the same as any other brass but once you see the first flake coming off discard it

Agreed.

Growing up in Mexico there weren't many options of brass available, for whatever reason nickel plated brass was easier and sometimes all you could get. For 308 Win and later on 7mm-08 it's what we could get so that's what dad and I used mostly.

No issues or damage to chamber or dies reloading it either.

Yes it was factory ammo, IIRC it was Federal Safari Grade 250g Partitions.

Cheers.
