I have been wanting an Encore for a few years and found a used one for a decent price. It came with the 45lc/410 barrel which is cool and will get some use around the farm. I wanted to stretch it out and yote hunt with it so I ordered a custom barrel from MGM. It is a full bull 12in .223 barrel with a 1 /12 twist for light bullets. I cannot wait to break this baby in and see what it will do.

Nice. I like the look. I tried a fast twist 1-8 MGM .223 Encore barrel as my next step after my 1-12 twist. I have not taken the 1-8 off since. Shooting 75 and 77gr out to 500y made me smile more than the light and fast bullets.
