new scope

Hello I'm new to LRH. I have Remington 700 sps varmint came in 22-250. the rifle shoot under 1/2 inch group at 100 yds very good considering the cost of the rifle. It came with a 4x12x40 scope is just the one it came with Bushnell style ok for 100 yds shoots but i would like to up grade the scope. The only thing is that I don't have much money. Do any of u shooters give or used a decent affordable scope I would like 8-24 or something along them lines. Thanks.

Fine Crosshair w/ Dot Weaver 4-16x42 Classic V Rifle Scope
Stock # - 849410 Go to SWFA and look up the above scope in the Weaver scopes. This is under $300 bucks and I think would be perfect . All the Weavers scopes are very good. I have a Tactical Weaver on my AR-15 and its " Bad to the Bone " Hope this helps

Not in your price range . They have 6x24x40mm for $375 + Scope I posted would be a great starter scope !

I'm an old guy I have a bunch and have had a bunch plus a whole lot of various brand scopes. These Weaver scopes have nice glass.

All of my older rifles have the the old style scope 4 6 and some variable power
