new rifle ... 260 vs 7mm08

Wanting to build a new deer rifle for shots under 300-400 yards. I keep going back and forth and am just not able to decide. It will be a Savage heavy barrel with custom loads. What are everyone's opinions? Which caliber should I choose?

Go with 7 MM 08 .

If you reload you can do so much more with the 7 MM 08 .

I have 5 rem700 7 MM 08 .


I have made Kills from coyote to an Elk with my 7 MM 08

I all so have an very good shooting T C Encore
Pro Hunter 28 in Barrel .

All of my Remington 700 shoot very Small Group .

I would go with the TC Encore then if you Want to try an 260 It would just cost you $ 265 for an Pro Hunter Barrel.
The Rem would cost around $ 850 .
