I have the G7 gen 3 and love it. Works great out 1400 with custom turrets for the wife and kids.
I upgraded to the sig 2400 abs and it has been a rock star for me.
A little more info may help. What are your plans?

Sorry brain fart didn't read all of your post.
Save your money or look or used higher end unit.
Remember buy once cry once and in this game you definitely get what you pay for. You can always make more money but you can't take it to the grave.

Sig BDX. For that amount one can get the model that ranges to 1400, I think it is. I got one, for 250.00, ranges 900. Wish I had ponied up the 500.00 for the next one up, instead. Well, it will do for now. But yeah, I like the Sig.

Um leupold 2800 for good performance, cortez for a better warranty. The sig you don’t really get any of those and the 2800 only has a
2 year warranty on a China made product. I like mine though.

Id buy a used Leica, the only on your list I'd own is the Sig and I was not impressed with the three I went through and went back to my old Leica.

What issues are you having with the sig? And what model?
I’ve had the 2200 as well. Maybe his problems were different but i couldn’t get it out past 2000y to save my life. Sometimes not even past 1000. I was conscious of conditions and radiation emitted off the ground by the sun etc. just didn’t work well during the day for me.

I agree with the idea of saving your money and getting a used(or new) Sig 2400 or Gunwerks G7....

Been through Sig 2200's and a 2400, two local stores won't carry the Sig anymore because of all the returns. They all worked differently, one didn't work hardly at all out of the box, one crapped out on a friend who wanted to try one. They were all fixed and verified good and sold to guys who had lower requirements.
I'm saving for the Leica 2800.com, the two other Leica units I have have been solid!!

I agree with 'buy once cry once' for sure. That being said, I have the Lieca 1600b and it is right in your range and it works quite well. If you are set on the price range it's a great way to go.

Nightforce has great tracking capabilities, they are rugged, a bunch of elevation, holds zero forever, and reticles are designed for long range shooting. So if you are looking to shoot long distances constantly, then you need a scope that can take the abuse. -- gilmillan1

The total package. Nightforce is the best I have used as far as turret feel and solid detents. I have never had one that didn't track right on and always return to zero. Nightforce NXS is the best value for everything I need. -- Broz
