i sold my leica 1600 and now looking for something that has angle compensation and can range at long distances, so i plan on getting the 1600b and was wondering if there are any other new products out there or is the 1600b the route to go. I dont want to spend the money on the g7 either. thanks

I think that is your best option unless you step up to the G7 or maybe try and find a used Terrapin, but probably still be pricey.
