I just purchased a new Burris Mtac 6.5-20x50 for my new project. The rifle its going on is the new Savage 10/110 predator/hunter max 1 in 6.5x284 Norma. Does anyone know what height rings I need for this to sit nicely but not to high? The scope has an adjustable obj. so it needs to be able to turn and I want to put a heavy duty ring on it...ie burris xtreme 30mm....or badger ord. Also if anyone knows will this rifle have a "flat" rear base or "round? Seems like all bases they are offering both! Thanks in advance for the help and great site! Glad I found it!
