NEW HAMMER HBC BULLETS

Yes I have be all across seating depths as posted much earlier in this thread. Didn't really change much on accuracy. Once i return to load development as time becomes available I will start to move over from 3500 .3 at a time. Will definitely be posting the results in this thread. I will not quit until I prove to myself this bullet will it will not shoot in my rifle.
Looking forward to your results. Don't give up!

I've talked to a few other guys that can't get them to shoot either, they seem to be finicky

I developed loads with the 107HBC in my 26" 1:7 25-06AI and my 18" 1:7 25CM. I wouldn't say load development was any different for the HBC than the HH bullets I have worked with. I shot a 10-shot ladder to find pressure, found a region where neighboring charge weights printed a small group, then loaded up a few sequential charges in that region. At 100 yards I don't think either rifle shot the 107HBC over MOA at any charge weight. In my 25-06AI, it it shoots 0.5MOA-0.75MOA at 400 yards consistently. The 25CM stayed under MOA at 400, but I haven't shot that one as much at that distance.

The biggest challenge with the HBC is getting two drive bands inside the neck at your desired COAL. I will be adding some extra freebore in my 25CM to give me a little more room to seat bullets another 0.025" longer. Right now the rear drive band is right in the neck/shoulder junction and the bullets are 0.015" off jam. That's a little too snug for my liking.

Looking for help in getting these bullets to shoot straight in my 6 creed. 89gr HBC.

Anyone have any load data that they are willing to share?

Please help
Thanks all
Did you shoot a pressure ladder or did you go straight to testing 3-shot groups? The target on a ladder test can be pretty telling of the accuracy potential sometimes. When your 10-shot ladder ends up printing a 1" group you can almost be sure you are on track to find some really accurate loads.

Yes shot a ladder test all the way up to 3500. Wouldn't say I found pressure at that but I really didn't want to run my barrel anymore than that.

Haven't had the time to get back out to the range and work with some different powders

Will fire back up likely in December as time permits

Do you have pictures of that pressure ladder you shot? What are all the specifics for this load you are having issues with? I went back and re-read all the earlier posts again and you never really shared much detail about your rifle or the load work up. What's you barrel length? Twist? What powder and charge weight? What primer? What are all the measured velocities for the loads you have tested? Etc.
