Thanks well squirrel season is now over here in vt. Training season starts in April red squirrels can be taken year round helps keep things interesting. I hope your little guy works out for you as with my basset the short legs do make it easier to catch. Him

Well just a couple more weeks and I'll see if jasper remembers what squirrels are. First saterer day in sept. It opens can't wait.

Some of the most fun I've had in the woods was hunting behind a 30lb Mt. Cur that was ate up with squirrels. Nothing like watching a dog work. Good luck this fall.
