I am going to put this scope on a .300wm used primarily for hunting but also paper. If i can get some input that would be great.
Looking for:
Want to be able to adjust turret for yardage
around 500-700 yard range
$500 limit
i want good quality that will last a long long time
i like the 4x16x44 but will take other opinions
side focus is a plus

$549 will get you a 4-20x50 ZA5. Easily the best glass around your price range.

Viper HS LR all the way. Mine has been flawless and alot of fun to take to the range. Haven't had the opportunity to take an animal with it yet, but I feel pretty confident when that time comes.
