I am going to build my first long range rifle(actually it will be an all purpose hunting rife that will be used for long range hunting) out of a sporterized m1903a3. My problem is I have found only one company that sells sporter stocks for the 03a3, and that is Boyd's, and they only have monte carlo style sporter stocks for the 03a3. Are Boyd stocks high quality? Is the monte carlo style good for long rang hunting? And are there any other companies that sell sporter stocks for the 03a3?
