Does neck turning really shrink your groups at long range ?

It very well can. Reason is turning your necks creates more uniform neck tension from case to case thus lowering your ES and SD. The closer those numbers are to 0 the more accurate your equipment will be. You can only shoot as good as your equipment, you may get lucky, but lady luck isn't too wifey.
