How does the gun shoot? 1/4"-1/2" @ 100 yards with Hornady ELD-X 200gr/Fed 215/Retumbo/Hornady Brass. Load development was a breeze, ran 1 ladder test with the load mentioned above. Started at 90 grains of Retumbo, 92 grains was the sweet spot. Shoots Factory ammo well, 1/2"-3/4" with Barnes 180gr ttsx & 190gr LRX's.

If I've missed any info of importance, please ask.

$1,600.00 OBO Shipped

Trades that I'd entertain are middle to high end spotters/binos (Vortex Razor, Swaro, Sig, Leica, Zeiss, Leupold, etc).

I don't know much about the rifles, can you modify it for a Wyatt's box?

I'd have to go talk to a gunsmith about the modularity of the magazine box to fit the Wyatts product. Never considered changing the Mag Box because the gun is already extremely accurate. The extra length of a longer Mag Box wouldn't make a difference in my opinion. Never pumped more than 3 shot groups down the barrel & always gave the gun adequate time to cool. Rifle breaths fire, got the video to prove it!

The sweet spot for bullet weight is 190-210gr on this rifle. It shoots the Hornady 200gr ELD-X Best, followed by the Barnes 200gr LRX. Barnes 190gr LRX & Berger 210gr VLD Hunting averaged .5"-.75" groups at 100. Hornady 220gr ELD-X average .75-1" groups at 100. With the 1:10 twist, it prefers the cup & core over monolithic bullet.

I can understand that. I've been running 3.8-95" with my current one, that's why I was curious if it could be opened up. Thanks

In case anyone is wondering how I came up with my asking price of $1,600 Shipped???

Cost of the Rifle "brand new" in 2017 was $1,929.95 (receipt is in the box). Have spent $750-$1000 on additional gunsmith work (re-bedded the action/stock, trigger work, deep cleaning, etc). Pic Rails & Rings were another $250-$300, bringing my investment into the rifle roughly $3k (not including optics).

As a lefty, very few custom & or mass manufactured rifles were/are offered in a left handed action in 300 Remington Ultra Magnum. Montana Rifle Company was the only manufacturer at the time who would build this rifle for me in the $2k or less price range. The product that was delivered was as good if not better than I could have expected. The rifle need some additional TLC to make it perform to the standard I was originally looking for. Once the gunsmith dialed everything in, I could not of been happier. Now that my thirst for precision & accuracy at longer range has been awakened. I've since moved forward to other builds that cost double & or triple the cost of this rifle. As a ultra-lite backpack hunter, ounces become pounds & the MRC X2 has been replaced with rifles that weigh 25-30% less (to include optics). Yes, titanium actions & carbon fiber stocks & barrels are my go-to choice when headed to the back country.

Thanks for looking! 😎🤙
