So thanks to @Creedmoor shooter who referenced this phrase in another thread, I thought it would be interesting to see what meat missiles you may be using.!

So my favorite is my .270TH with 156HH@3200 fps.

140 bergers at 3125 but I'm trying out some 199 HH at 3000 this year on one of my hunts.

Ok , I'm in , mine is 300 weatherby mag, with 180 gr.
Nosler accubond , at 3100 FPS , per book.
But could be moving to a short action caliber this season
If all goes smooth.

Here's a variety of meat missiles I might use this year. Got drawn for either sex moose, either sex mule deer, antlerless mule deer, and will buy the usual whitetail tag. May also go after elk in a nearby region where you can just buy a tag over the counter.


Left to right 300 win 120 tac tx, 300 wm 225 eld m, 358 Norma 250 interlock, .358 Norma 270 grain power point winchester, .358 Norma 280 swift a frame.

Top to bottom, 28 nosler 154 absolute dead blow at 3352. 7 stw 168 Berger at 3200, 7 stw 131 hammer hunter at 3680, 7 max 190 matrix at 2920. 7 max 169 hammer hunter at 3100 and last is a 300 prc with a 199 hammer hunter at 3100.

Replying to myself…I must say that with its blunt round nose profile that long discontinued 270 grain Winchester power point looks like it will have a ton of straight up THUMP!!!! Power inside 300 yard. Might be my moose bullet.
