McGowen vs. Others

Here's my Mc Gowen !!

There is one on the hide right now that's a replacement of a poor barrel and the threading job is just horrible.

Any company that makes shouldered prefits for Remington 700s gives me the iffy's so I've stayed away

I want to try a twist gain, but only a few offer that and maybe only 1 is the right choice. Factory rifles and their more or less than 5r is all I've used, so not knowing how a 6, 4 or 3 would compare for better accuracy keeps me only buying 5r. If there's any threads that could get me there please link as not to try and startup another.

I have personally have shot quite a few McGowen steel and Carbon six carbon barrels with McGowen liners in them and they shoot extremely well and they look great inside!!

That camber job is horrible and seriously should not have even left the shop!

The fact is most big shops have a floor full of guys in the "CNC era" that seriously could give a **** less and just want a pay check.
