just setting this up for white tail in va my rifle bar 308 shoots 168 grain federal gold bthp MATCH ammo like a champ.debate on match ammo on game some yes some no .now my ? is if I don't go to the match for game what would you guys recommend to replace it with that mite shoot with the matc,a 165 grain in a good ammo or what mite any of you suggest .this is my 1st run with a 308 .thank

Anything you change to you will have to test. There is no direct replacement.

That being said, 70% of the game we shoot is with "match" bullets. I really only have loads for a few rifles that are "hunting" bullets. And those rarely get used except on certain hunts that request non-lead bullets. Only two of my rifles use "hunting" bullets as their main loads too. .280AI w. 175 Elites and 6.5SS w. 156 Elites.
