Magnetospeed V3 or Sporter??

What am I missing by purchasing the Sporter? Other than the spacers what's the difference?
If I in theory had the spacers from the V3, would I be able to mount the sportsman on a surpressor? Are there any software differences between the two? How do you save the data from the groups? I'm familiar with the Caldwell app since that's what I have(had) until the board burnt up. Appreciate all opinions on this.

The Sporter is thicker, which is why it has thin spacers. The V3 being thinner allows for the use of a suppressor by using thinner spacers.

The V3 has SD card, while the Sporter does not.

The Sporter only displays 1 data point at a time. The V3 displays multiple.

Thanks, so basically I can't just buy a Sporter and make my own spacers.
And the only way to save it on the computer/phone would be to use the V3
