I went to a 1000 yard range yesterday and it was awesome. It was really 1075 yards, which I found out after my first 3 shots fell very short of the target. Came up 5 MOA and adjusted for wind then I hit it. It's a choir at 1000, you really have to read the wind, and it's always changing.

Thanks for sharing and Congratulations!:)

I could be mistaken, but it kinda looks like you're shooting a "factory" VTR with an aftermarket stock?

Tell us about it.

How big was the 1K target? Did you hit it more than once? What caliber? looks like a short action.

It is addictive. Now that I've shot at 1,000 I want to try it at 1 mile.

Nice looking rig you got there and nice range. gun)

I know this much from another post I found him on. It's a .308 and he is shooting 168 A-max match ammo.

Tank

Shooting 175g SMKs, the range is called 3 mills right (3 Mils Right)

And yes its' a factory VTR w/ a B&C A2 stock. It's been inleted, but that's it. Sorry I got pulled away and could not come back to answer questions. Also Yes I hit it more than once. After I got the wind down I hit it quite a few times.

Cheers
