That doesn't run up to being smart $ wise. It was a lot of years, before the chrono became available (paper screens) I shot lots of muley with a 130 gr Sierra loaded as the book said to 3100. Chrono'd years later @ just under 2900. What a major letdown.
Found N-205 and immediately went to 3190.
Ya know, it made exactly no difference in harvest success. Go figure.....
If I had a WSM that shot as yours does I wouldn't budge an inch.
However, I have the investment in AM dies and stuff
and pretty much hooked on a 1/2 moa potential @ 1200 (only a couple of targets and a few rogue rocks...so far. Plus that impressively short flight time.
I'm thinkin' 9 twist polygonal Pac Nor or Schneider if they make the 9 twist (I feel strongly for the 150-165 class bullets 8 twist is over kill) for the rebarrel.
