I know the vast majority are running 200+ grain projectiles in the PRC but is anyone running 168-185 grain? I only ask because I have a substantial amount of projectiles from 308 win and 300wsm reloading.

Run'um. I've run 150 in the 300 WSM and WM. They kilt just fine.

I have several hundred of the 168 TTSX and I am thinking of trying to build a load for them......H1000? Maybe N170? I havent been able to locate Retumbo or RL26 for over a year. I do have 4# of N550 but I do not believe I have seen any data for in 300prc

I have run 180 barnes no problem in a 10 twist.

Those lighter ones have to be hauling @$$ !!!
On the far end, I found RL16 with 168TTSX a touch too fast. It worked, but pressures and speed were not optimal, and seemed spikey. I would (personally) test with faster than H1000, maybe somethingin the RL23 / 4831sc range.

IMR-4350 Would be your friend.
174gr HH @ 3500fps in the big thirty is what I'm hoping for soon as the weather turns... No law about shooting light for calibers bullets in the boomers, it makes for some fun and interesting yote splat patterns!!!

I have only shot the 230 A tips so far and have some Berger 230's to try as well. Like the post above I think the 174gr HH would be a stone cold killer!! happy shooting, Jason
