Leupold problem.

This is a new one on me. What is the problem with this vx6 hd?

It's on a ruger 1022. So not recoil related.

If it were my rifle....I say it's the front sight! Though, my front sight image is a bit more of a mirage than what you're seeing!

One thing is the end of your barrel is in your sight picture and can be eliminated using taller rings. It looks like you have over adjusted the reticle focus on the rear lens of your scope. Try screwing it in clockwise and see if it eliminates the distortion. You should only focus your reticle adjustment until the reticle looks crisp against your sight picture.

You must be worried about the bumps on the reticles....be helpful to state that or the blurred object in the bottom of scope....

The reticle.

The blur is the barrel. No problem there. It's a 2-12 scope.

Send a pic to Leupold....ask what they "are going to do to recti-fy" it..

Bottom of the scope looks like the top of the barrel. The bumps on the crosshairs look like someone left your crosshairs under a pigeon roost I'd send it back!

send it back. They'll fix it.
