Leupold M1 knobs

I'm interested in the Leupold M1 knobs and I'm hoping someone might have some experience with them. How are they different from the target knobs? It is my assumption that they are similiar, but the target knobs have covers - yes? Do the M1 knobs have a positive 'click' to their adjustment? Any other comments?

M1 knobs are the same (basically) as the ones on the MK4's. Yes they have positive clicks.

The M1 are much easier to see than the target knobs.

one down side is they do get moved. Last year while pulling my gun out of the gun case on the 4 wheeler All I hear is ZIPPPPP! it was the sound of my m1 knob spinning as I pulled it out. Luckily it only spun half way around and it was the windage knob. I re zeroed and away I went!
