Glad I bought up 60000 primers for $20 a thousand 3 years ago .They were on clearance all federal but I got li l e 15000 federal 215 mag primers 15000 large rifke 210 and 10000 federal match primers large rifle. I GOT A bunch of federal large shotgun mag primers .I didn't get any pistol rest whew all small rifle bunch of match .I just saw win sr for $62 1000 at bass pro

Every time I build a new rifle, I try to buy an extra 1000!!lol I have plenty, but a guy can never be to prepared for a drought.

That's a decent way to play. I like to shake a rifle or pistol down a bit after I get it then start buying components. I'll typically buy a couple years' worth of brass, primers, bullets, and powder if it's common. If it isn't really common, I'll probably buy enough brass and bullets to last the life of the toy.
