Yeh what ever. Who is Jill

I've seen one of the big manufacturers selling them at $750 per 5000 but requires half down. This is for future production runs.

There's not even an option to buy anything less than 3k! Ugh I do NOT want to pay that much, but if I get desperate enough I might have to.
Don't be a fool. People keep paying those prices they'll never go down and the shortage will continue. I know for a fact that people are going around buying up everything they can find just so they can turn around to sell and price gouge people. Same exact thing happened in 2008. Only way to fix it is to STOP PAYING THESE RIDICULOUS PRICES PEOPLE!

Same thing happened to AR-15s in 2008. People bought up all the parts and pieces they could find to price gouge others. Eventually people stopped buying at the ridiculous prices and all those jerks ended upside down with a bunch of ARs and parts they couldn't sell. Glad a bunch of those companies went tits up for what they were doing.

That is what capitalism is all about. Supply and demand. The price does the allocation rather than some bureaucrat. Those willing to pay get the goods and the high prices motivate the producers to make more. When people have enough and demand falls all those producers have to lower their prices to entice people to buy. So many people seem to forget this is the most efficient system invented by man. Patience will always pay off and if you are desperate for something and are willing to pay you can still get it. But if you can wait you will get it at a lower price.

It's not consumer's buying and the dealer's selling that will raise the average price after the shortage runs it course. It's inflation, the Biden Administration is printing trillions of dollars.

Well there's a difference between honest and fair trade using the capitalism system and then there's just being a greedy a**hole. I think the difference is pretty clear

In small rifle, they have only Fiocchi. Some bad stories on the internet about failure to ignite, and maybe more suitable for rifles with a floating firing pin (ARs).

Anyone have experience with these in a bolt gun?

Half of everthing you said here is wrong; you're simply uninitiated in the intentional inflation and deflation of products. You, and the majority of consumers believe there's a "shortage" due to the "manufacturer's inability to keep up with demand". That's the lie.
I have 5 minutes, so the really short and simple version in how real economics and markets work: as a larger investor in the defense markets, I can assure you that demand is manipulated by those in control of the supply; this is undisputed. For instance, one I'm invested in most is Vista Outdoor, one of your ENORMOUS flagship capitalist companies who controls the manufacture and supply of, just to name a few, your highly-sought after Federal and CCI primers, ammunition, Alliant Powder, ARs, and MANY other related items you can't have right now.
The myth: All the boardmembers at Vista Outdoor have demanded that factories to be running three shifts with all machines at full-tilt putting out products as fast as possible for their beloved consumer's needs and desires.
The fact: Vista Outdoor could pump out and flood the market with more product you've ever seen on the shelves of every retail store in every country selling it. Their manufacturing plants are running three shifts with half of their machines (assets) running idle with the least amount of employees (liabilty) to run them; just enough to keep up with far-more lucrative defense contracts. They will make more fullfilling defense contracts while driving up consumer need through starvation to create a much-desired exponential price increase across all related product lines that will be implemented and wait for it...welcomed with open arms by the consumer. I can assure you, all these products are coming back, and coming back in abundance, but and at a higher price point. No, they won't be at near the price these choice retailers are raping you at, but higher nonetheless. That's not efficiency, that's manipulation, and was created and perfected by the "elite corporate capitalist" for their own good, not yours.
My investor side says keep paying ridiculous prices and gobbling up everything you can find, you'll eventually raise my wealth when the market to the masses is fullfilled again. My father in me says just wait, stop frenzy-purchasing/hoarding and climbing over each other for these products like fools, shoot a little less, pick up a new hobby for a short while, do something worth your time and money. Trust me you'll be glad you did.
