Large rifle primers in lite magnum loads

I have a question on a load in 300 WM, to save my my magnum primers which I am getting low on is it ok to use my federal 210 primers on a load of 66.5 grains of IMR 4350 and a Hornady 168 gr bullet? I read one post a while back that stated he used LR in mag loads all the time. I also have read it can dangerous if you are using ball powder, I want to use LR for fire forming brass and save my mag primers for my final loads. Any help on this I would greatly appreciate!

It's fine to use standard primers in magnum loads, heck I even used them for loads containing 148g of Retumbo without issue.
