Wondering if someone has quickloads can run this load. I think the H4831sc tends to like heavy for caliber bullets but I was hoping that with this certain application there was no chance of overpressure.
Being at 2.800" there's a good chance that there cannot be too much H4831sc loaded into case to create a dangerous situation.
I recall some of my loads being compressed and safe.
My angle is looking at it from a safety perspective, a safe powder to have on hand, if you crunch a compressed load its still safe, back it down to a full case and no crunch/compression and you've got yourself a handy load. Can still shake cartridge to hear powder.
I think 60gr will fit but I suspect that would be compressed.
