Kestrel 3000 opinion needed. $75

I have the opportunity to buy a used Kestrel 3000 for $75 but I don't have any idea what these are worth used. Could someone Chim in and give me an idea. Thanks.

That sounds like a really good deal. Does it work? If the previous owner used alkaline batteries and if one on the batteries leaked, the unit is basically trash.

To my knowledge yes, I haven't looked at it in person yet.
