Does anyone know Ken Howell or anything about the Howell Rifle Cartridges ( AHR American Hunting Rifle ? ) ? Thanks in advance for any thoughts, opinions, or answers.

Howell was supposed to be an expert in case forming. He wrote a few books on it. If you google what you want you probably can find links to read about what you want to know. Matt

My wildcats the 375 Executioner and the 338 Jaguar are both off Ken Howells 500 AHR cartridge,
Ken Howell improved the 500 Jeffery by beefing up the web and case head diameter to 338 Lapua size and lengthened the case length by 1/4" , making it the biggest capacity case to be had on the 338 Lapua bolt face ! by necking down to 375 cal and blowing up to 35 degrees , the case thus creates Identical case capacity as the 375 CheyTac , 161 gr of H20 ....that is simply glorious !!

Thank you Dr. Ken Howell for your outstanding work and contributions to the wildcat cartridge world !
