Keep hunting?

If you shoot an animal and don't recover it, do you consider your tag filled or keep hunting?

If you hunt in Alaska, you must punch your tag. Wound something in Africa, and you pay the TF and perhaps lose your quota. If you hunt with a guide, your hunt is typically over. I hunt with a lot of guides and have for some years. Frankly, many are tired of the long range craze inviting shooting beyond a shooter's limits.

If it's on a tag, yeah. If it's not on a tag, as often as not. Managing game isn't about wants.
