Jewell trigger safety concern

For a Rem. 700 action and stock. I want to install a Jewell trigger with bolt release and upper right safety. Unfortunately, they are no where to be found. Jewell makes the trigger with a bottom right safety lever. Question,, will it fit into a rem. stock and secondly, is it very safe having the safety so close to the trigger.
