Our stick and string opened sept 10th. I've only gone out twice because it has been so hot. Had opportunities, but just didn't want to deal with a deer in the heat. Will do more when the weather cools off.

Love running a pointy stick at close range through a deer or bears rib cage! 
I like em under 20 yards! When you have to worry about if the deer is going to hear your pounding heart of if the wind is going to swirl just right and ruin the hunt!

In my case that's 60 yards. Planning on getting a 5 pin slider. CBE tech hybrid so I can shoot 100 yards more efficiently. 100 yards the way it is now is tricky!
60+ is when things start to get Interesting with a bow. I'd probably say 60 with a bow is equivalent to 600 with a rifle.
I agree with Rick. Too dang hot here for me at the moment. 100 expected today. But, still starting to get the excitement level up.

We've got some perfect weather rolling in friday/sat. It's been raining here the past 3 or 4 days so the deer are going to move with that little cold front

Sure is! My family has been stacking them this season, and these pics aren't all inclusive ha ha. And I'm waiting on pics from my buddy an cousin, my buddy used my rifle to take what I was told is a 190ish" 4x5....so far only got a Garmin in-reach message.....he should be getting out of the high country today. Tis the season!
