Illuminated Reticle for 7mm Mag

Ok im looking for a scope in the price range of $300...will be used for deer, elk, bear hunting.... shots out to 400 yards.... was thinking vortex and must have illuminated reticle... but open to options

Vortex is a great option, but probably not in the $300 catagory. I have the 4-16PST on a 7MAG but haven't used the illuminated recticle much.

The Burris E1 3-9x40 illuminated fits your needs. Burris scopes have good optics, hold point of aim, and have a great warranty. The E1 optics have good resolution, contrast and transmission. The E1 reticle provides elevation and wind holdover marks for ranges up to 500 yds. They are great scopes for the price.

Checkout the Konus M30 line, it has red and blue mildot reticle. I have the 6.5-25x44 and paid $320 2 years ago ... it started on my. 300 Win Mag with 100+ rounds and now on my. 270 AI with close to 100 rounds.

Very pleased thus far.

Yes I do....very much so. Price was around 6-$700. The scope has awesome clarity, it's bright and contrasty. Save your $$ and buy quality. I call it "cry once".
